What an unforgettable week at Folklorama 2026! Stelle di Calabria was proud to take the stage as an official performing member of the Italian Pavilion at Caboto Centre, celebrating Italian culture, traditions, and community through the joy of dance.
From August 9–15, our dancers brought their energy, passion, and love of Italian folklore to the stage, sharing traditional dances with audiences throughout the week. With multiple performances each evening, our dancers worked hard to deliver memorable shows while representing our organization and the traditions that inspire us.
Behind every performance were countless hours of rehearsals, dedicated instructors, supportive families, and volunteers who helped make the week possible. From preparing costumes and coordinating dancers to cheering from the sidelines, every contribution played an important role in our success.
Folklorama is about more than performances. It is an opportunity to bring people together, celebrate cultural heritage, and share traditions with the wider Winnipeg community. We are incredibly grateful to the Italian Pavilion and Caboto Centre for welcoming us, and to everyone who came out to watch, support, and celebrate with us.
Most importantly, we are proud of every dancer who stepped onto the stage. Your dedication, enthusiasm, and teamwork made this week truly special!
Thank you to our instructors, volunteers, families, pavilion organizers, and audience members for being part of this incredible experience. We are honoured to continue sharing our Italian and Calabrian roots with our community and look forward to many more opportunities to dance together.
Danziamo con il cuore, brilliamo come stelle. ⭐
Grazie mille for an amazing Folklorama 2026! ❤️🤍💚
Grazie,
Stelle di Calabria
