On Thursday, July 20th, 2023, the Stelle di Calabria Anziani group joined the Italian community out at The Forks National Heritage Site for a special lighting of the Winnipeg sign and the Esplanade Riel Footbridge in the Italian Flag colors to celebrate the 25 year anniversary of the opening of the Centro Caboto Centre. To help with the event, Founder Tabitha and Anziani dancer Domenica, organized bringing in a sound system to create the mood of a piazza where the Anziani group grabbed other community members and had everyone dancing the tarantella. Once the sign was lit, the ladies performed a sneak peak of their set for Folklorama.
